Frederico Henning
I'm an evolutionary biologist mainly interested in the genetics of adaptation and speciation. I currently teach undergraduate Evolution, as well as optional courses on forward genetics, speciation and adaptation. I'm equally excited to conduct field-based studies, including behavioral observations in the tradition of ecological genetic research. Some of the main questions that drive my research concern the genetic architecture of ecological speciation, the causes of evolutionary convergence and genome evolution. I am excited as well to use evolutionary methods to tackle societal relevant issues in fisheries.
